Lone Bang Larsen

Lone Bang Larsen is today one of Denmark's most successful dressage riders. As just 14-years old, she made as the youngest rider ever in Denmark, her Grand Prix debut with the horse Plank.

As a junior and youngrider Lone Bang Larsen was at the Danish national team wining many medals.

Lately Lone Bang Larsen has achieved many top results both national and international. There has been many talented horses trained by Lone, among others Sydney, Marron and Fitou L.

Results:

  • Started Championship for juniors in dressage first time as 12-year-old with Plank - won silver.


  • Participated as a junior by the youngrider team at the Nordic Championship - won two gold medals.


  • Started her first Grand Prix test as 14-year-old in 1989 - the youngest Grand Prix rider in Denmark ever.


  • Danish champion for juniors 1991 and 1992.


  • Silver for the team at the European Championships for youngriders in Italy in 1992.


  • Bronze medal for the team at the European Championships for young riders in Vallensbæk in 1996.


  • Placed 6th at the Danish National championship for seniors with the horse Sydney.


  • Three times places 2nd in the Grand Prix at the CDI Festival in Saumur in France.


  • Participated by the World Championships for 5 year-old horses in Verden, Germany with the horse Michillano 2003.


  • Participated by the World Championships for 5 year-old horses in Verden, Germany with the horse Fitou L in 2004.


  • Participated by the World Championships for 6 year-old horses in Verden, Germany with the horse Michillano in 2004.


  • Participated by the World Championships for 6 year-old horses in Verden, Germany with the horse Fitou L in 2005.

2010:

  • Second in the Grand Prix debut in Hjallerup with 69.4% with Fitou L.


  • Winner of the Grand Prix Special debut in Hjallerup with 73.1% with Fitou L.


  • No. 9 in the FEI World Cup Grand Prix in Gothenburg, Sweden with 69% with Fitou L.


  • No. 11 in the FEI World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle in Gothenburg. Sweden with 70.95% with Fitou L.


  • No. 3 in the Grand Prix Special at the CDI Bremen with 69.875% with Fitou L.
